NS 7th anniversary

Long time no write! I'm slowly but steadily chipping away at my thesis film and dissertation both, so it should be a busy spring for me - but I'll try to keep some life in this blog. I acquired my own domain during the holidays and will probably eventually move there entirely. More about that when it becomes relevant.

Yesterday was the seventh anniversary of a story project me and my friend have been "working" on, so to celebrate that I put together some quick sketches about the main cast and some of the most important supporting characters.

From left to right: Iina & Woody, the adventuring anarchists. Lasse Focus, the detective with a Past. Lars, the Fennoswede gadgeteer genius. Father Kiljunen, the kind alcoholic priest. Mama Luigi, the tavern keeper with a truffle-related secret, and Zbiegnjiev, the stoically silent Russian bouncer slash bartender.

Maybe in another seven years Ne Silakat ("Those Herrings") will be ready and available in some form for people to purchase. For the longest time it was intended to be a book; now we're quite fond of the idea of an old-fashioned point and click adventure game. A web comic has been under consideration, too. Who knows?
